Wild Fire Manual Installation
Prerequisites
- Windows, Linux/Unix, etc (any Java VM machine)
- 2.0GHz CPU installed
- 2GB RAM
- 100/1000 Mbps NIC
- Administrative Privileges
Install
Currently, the only documented method for installation here is with the Deployment Manager. However, the WildFire site itself has documentation on installing to many different platforms. The only real item of importance, is the database connection to the Billing Engine database must be set correctly. This is where the users are stored, and Wild Fire configuration settings are stored.
- Launch Deployment Manager
- Choose Wild Fire installation
- Allow it to install Java 1.6 if not already installed on system
Go to service control panel (Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
- Adjust properties of service to automatically start, and restart on failure
- Start Service
- You can browse to localhost:9090 to log into Wild Fire administration pages (you may need to generate/install SSL certifications, and/or alter settings based on your needs)
